Everyone wants top market value and a quick sell, I’ll share with you my tips on how to make that happen.
- Cleanliness is next to Godliness! Yes when selling a house it is the absolute most important aspect. Consider getting a professional cleaning and I’ll add declutter and organize in this part.
- Pricing accurately. Price- Condition and Location is something you have heard often. Your price must meet your condition and location. When pricing be sure you select an excellent agent with lots of knowledge of past sales and comps and pricing strategy. Won’t share all my secrets but price is KEY, call me to help you.
- Spruce up the landscaping. Now that the inside is presentable, the outside is even more important as it gives off the first impression. Freshen up mulch, weed and have the yard always mowed prior to showings. If your home is not landscaped, this is a super inexpensive way to make it stand out. Please don’t skip the pressure washing of the home and sidewalks.
- Take care of all maintenance issues. I would either hire an inspector and do a pre inspection so you are aware of what needs to be fixed. - To paint or not to paint… that is the question. I would heavily rely on your expert realtor for this. It truly depends… on lots of variables. I do say touch up all trim and paint regardless if you re paint.
