I am a lifelong resident of North Alabama. My love for the community in the Shoals has only grown through helping clients buy their new home. I reside in Killen with my husband, Wes, and our five year old son, Berkley. I graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in business. After working in the sales and insurance fields, I found my calling in mortgage lending 10 years ago. There is something very special about helping someone achieve their goal of owning a home. I am passionate about my job and my clients. One quality I love about Trustmark is we service our loans which means we do not sell or transfer our loans after closing. I’m a member of the Shoals Association of Realtors, YPN, and the Chamber. I was awarded Affiliate of the Year in 2016 and 2019 by SAAR. Justin Dorroh is a Loan Officer in the Florence, Alabama Branch of Assurance Financial. Justin grew up in The Shoals, and is a graduate of Brooks High School and the University of North Alabama where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics. Justin has strong ties to the community and has served in the finance industry since 2011. He has been a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator since 2015. Justin is licensed in the states of Alabama and Tennessee.

More than anything, Justin loves helping people get into their dream homes and providing them with a transparent, hassle-free experience. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, fantasy football, and playing with his dogs. Justin and his wife, Chelsea, foster several dogs each year through the local shelters and rescue programs. He is also involved with the local school system’s career development program as a volunteer.

I am a life long resident of Florence. I’ve been married to my husband, Allan, almost 42 years and we have 2 sons and 4 grandsons.

I have been in mortgage lending since 1988. I began my career as a processor/closer and worked my way up to Real Estate Operations Manager and then to Mortgage Department Manager. In 2013, I had the privilege of moving into the position I enjoy the most, a Mortgage Originator helping others get to a better place!

It’s my experience that makes the difference. I am more than just an application taker, I have the experience, knowledge and ability to think outside the box and help a borrower get the best possible loan for their unique situation. It is my goal to make the mortgage loan experience as smooth and painless as possible for my clients by walking them through the process step by step and making sure they have a good understanding of what’s going on.

Jason is from Killen, AL; a 1992 graduate at Brooks High School and served 5 years in the Marine Corps. After returning home, he completed his BS in Industrial Technology and minored in Business. Married to Shae Walton for 21 years and has two children, Eli & Brooke. After working in the Energy sector for over 20, he is now using his budgeting and customer service experience to help others obtain financing for their dream home. He is currently located in Huntsville and is working for the McAbee Group at SFMG. They are licensed in Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Colorado. “What sets us apart is the team approach we utilize to ensure each home buyer gets the best product for their situation and the detailed attention they deserve”.   Jason is part of Lincoln Village, a ministry serving the community through education and housing.  Being able to see others improve their situations through increased education and obtaining their first home is an amazing opportunity.  He is also on the board at Downtown Rescue Mission , a ministry to serve homeless people throughout northern Alabama and southern Tennessee by providing Christ-filled care to those in desperate need.
